Yachtcharter Leeuwarden rents out boats and motor yachts with a classic look and a length of 9 - 15 metres. Our motor yachts (Vletten, Simmerskippen, Duetglider and Aventuras) almost all have a low passage height, so that you can discover the "real Friesland" due to the low height of the boats in addition to the well-known water sports centres.
When you rent a boat from us, you will receive a detailed technical briefing from the boat (the local crew speaks Dutch, English, German and friendly). For these sport boats no licence is required. If you don't have any experience, you can book a practical driving course at Yachtcharter Leeuwarden at the beginning of your boating holiday and then start your boating holiday well prepared.

The provincial capital Leeuwarden is centrally located in Friesland and is an excellent base for boating holidays in Friesland, Drenthe, Overijssel and Groningen. Our boat hire at Watersportcentrum Leeuwarden is easily accessible by car and public transport.
From our harbour you can reach the north of Friesland with the beautiful nature reserve Lauwersmeer as well as further into the province of Groningen. The Frisian lakes in the south are not far away. On small waterways in the middle of nature you can reach, for example, the water sports resort Grou in about one and a half hours and the water sports centre Sneek in about two and a half hours. For our guests we have put together attractive routes of varying duration on board, which are fully documented to make it easier to explore the most beautiful water sports area in Europe.
